Garenne Group Acquires Bespoke Architectural Precast Cladding Company

GARENNE Group has acquired UK cladding company Sterling Services after working with them on a number of projects across the Channel Islands.

 

The company, which is based in Hatch Beauchamp, Somerset, specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of architectural precast concrete cladding. It has worked across the UK including projects in London, Bristol and Manchester.

They have an excellent team, which is committed to completing high quality bespoke projects, and both companies share similar values and approaches. It is therefore a natural fit for Sterling Services to join the Garenne Group and further strengthens our capabilities and expertise,’ said Garenne Group CEO Andy Hall.

 

Garenne Group, which comprises RG Falla, Camerons, Geomarine, AFM, Granite Le Pelley and Rabeys Group, has worked with Sterling Services on a number of notable projects in the Channel Islands including Ogier House, 44 Esplanade,  in Jersey, and Marina View, St Sampson’s High & Le Murier schools and Maison du Quetteville in Guernsey.

 

‘The Sterling Services current workforce will be retained and all their existing contracts will be honoured. We’ll now be working closely with the management team to fully integrate them with Garenne Group and identify opportunities for expansion,’ said Mr Hall.

 

Sterling Services managing director and former owner Joseph Cefai, who will now take on the role of director in the business, said the acquisition was the right step for both companies to take.

 

‘This is a perfect opportunity for Sterling Services to join a well-respected, dynamic and progressive group. It will also give Garenne in-house expertise which it has previously needed to contract in. Both companies are very excited about the future following this announcement,’ he said.
